What This Is
Ghostline is an automated SMS service operated by Unserious Ventures LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By texting the Ghostline number, you ("you," "user") agree to these terms.
How the Service Works
- You text the Ghostline number. The service is inbound-initiated only — we never text you first.
- You receive automated replies. Replies are generated by an AI system and delivered via SMS. Reply content, timing, and tone are determined entirely by the automated system.
- The service is entertainment. Ghostline is a creative project. It is not a communication platform, customer support line, or emergency service.
Consent to Receive Messages
By sending a text message to the Ghostline number, you consent to receive automated SMS replies. You may receive multiple replies per interaction. Standard message and data rates from your carrier apply.
To stop receiving messages at any time, text STOP. This is processed automatically at the carrier level. You may also email privacy@unseriousventures.com to opt out.

Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your interaction. Ghostline responds to inbound messages only. You control the frequency by choosing when and whether to text.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Ghostline to:
- Send content that is illegal under applicable law
- Harass, threaten, or abuse the service or its operator
- Attempt to extract personal information about the operator or other users
- Reverse-engineer, probe, or attack the service infrastructure
- Use automated systems or bots to send messages to the Ghostline number
- Send messages on behalf of minors
Content Disclaimer
- Automated responses are generated by AI. They do not represent the personal views, opinions, or statements of Unserious Ventures LLC or any individual.
- Responses may be sarcastic, dismissive, or absurd. This is by design. If you do not want to receive this type of content, do not text the number, or text STOP at any time.
- Ghostline is not a substitute for real human interaction, mental health support, or emergency services. If you are in crisis, contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988) or your local emergency services.
No Warranty
The service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The service will be available at all times
- Replies will be delivered within any specific timeframe
- The AI system will classify or respond to messages in any particular way
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unserious Ventures LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Ghostline, including but not limited to emotional distress, hurt feelings, or bruised egos resulting from automated replies.
Data and Privacy
Your use of Ghostline is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:
- Your phone number is cryptographically hashed and never stored in its original form
- Message content is encrypted at rest
- All data is automatically deleted after 90 days
- You can request immediate data deletion at any time
Termination
We reserve the right to block any sender or discontinue the service at any time, for any reason, without notice. The system may also stop responding automatically based on internal rate limits and usage thresholds.
Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to use Ghostline.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict of law principles. Venue for any dispute lies exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, except where applicable consumer-protection law grants a user a non-waivable right to bring suit in their state of residence.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
